Kothavaragai Vathal - Recipe Marathon - Day 19

I learnt how to make this vathal at home from my dear Janaki Patti. Very simple to make yet its very delicious. All you need is half kilo Kothavarangai or cluster beans, that's all.
Ingredients:
Cluster beans - 1/2 kg
Method:
Boil the cluster beans in a wide pan with a little salt in it. When the veggie is done, drain the excess water and dry the boiled cluster beans for the first day indoors and after that dry it under the sun. It should become completely dry , then store them in airtight containers. Fry them in hot oil and eat it along with sambar rice. Its very very tasty, that too when its home made, the taste is heavenly.
This was my strange ingredient for Riddle me #4. There were three correct answers from Uma, Nirmala and Roochi .
All the three mentioned that it was Fried Kothavarangai Vathal. And the winner is Uma , as she was the first to give the apt answer. So Uma you have to take the riddle forward now.

I get some good smell from my fellow runners kitchen , shall we peek in , come on ...

Congrats to Uma!

The red color is rather intriguing! So you don't add anything besides salt to these beans? I must try this in summer! Thank you, Kamalika, for leading us to a new taste!
