Yummy yummy Gulab Jamuns .... just love them dont you .. So does my family especially my dad, trust me he can gobble up 6 to 8 pieces in a row... Here goes the preparation for this yummy delight.
Ingredients:
For Sugar Syrup:
Sugar - 4 cups
Water - 4 cups
Cardamoms - For Flavour
For Jamuns:
Milk Powder - 2 cups
Baking Powder - 1 teaspoon
Milk - 1 cup reduced
Butter - 2 teaspoons
Oil for Deep Fry

Method:
Take the milk powder, add baking powder mix well along with reduced milk and Butter. Knead mixture well. Form balls(slightly smaller than you want them to end up as they swell when you put them in the syrup). In the mean while heat sugar along with water in a havey bottom pan and maintain a low flame.Deep fry the balls on medium heat till they are almost dark brown.Immediately transfer them to the simmering syrup. Keep on low very heat for 30 minutes. Keep the saucepan's lid on till you serve, or till the mixture attains room temperature
