Coconut Chutney - Recipe Marathon - Day 15

Coconut Chutney is the most common dish that accompanies a plate of steaming idlis or a yummy masala dosai or crsipy vadai. Simple to make, it will come in handy when your run out of time, but still cannot go with only podi for your dosa.
Ingredients:
Coconut - 1 cup scrapped
Green chillies - 3
Tamarind - a small piece
Salt to taste
For Tempering - Mustard Seeds , Urad dal, Curry leaves
Method:
Add all the ingredients in a blender and run it for about 5 mins, till it forms a smooth paste. Add water carefully so that the chutney does not become watery. Remove to a bowl. In a small frying pan add a spoon of oil. When the oil is hot add the mustard seeds , followed by the Urad dal and the curry leaves. Pour them on the chutney and serve. Tasty Coconut Chutney for you
