- Black Sesame Seeds - 1 cup
- Urad Dal - 2 spoons
- Red chillies - 5
- Garlic - 1 pod
- Salt - as per taste
Method:
- Saute the ingredients listed above one by one except salt
- When it is cooled down take them in a blender and add salt
- Grind the mixture to a coarse powder
- Check for salt and transfer into a dry bottle
- Add a little gingelly oil or have it like that with hot idlis or soft dosas
- This can be stored for two days and used
