The overall experience of dining was average and the taste of food was just OK. The starters were very good especially Spinach Mushroom Tikka. I personally found it to be different because if the stuffing and the way it was made. Veg sheek Kebab tasted good though nothing special in it.
Chatpata Chickpeas salad had a little overdo of salt in it. This was the case with the peas Pulao too. Baingan Bhartha, which is their signature dish and something which Simar who is the restaurant owner's recipe tasted good. I liked the deep sour taste in the dish.
The Lassi , Mango and Regular one that was served was amazingly tasty and fills your stomach completely leaving absolutely no space to eat anything else.
A complete let down was the desserts, Rabdi and Gulab Jamun. Rabdi was more like a rice batter and Gulab Jamun was way too sweet.
On the whole it was a mixed experience with some dishes being really good and some really bad. Something that Simar needs to improve upon is to reduce salt in their dishes, speed-en up the service at the tables and improve the quality of the desserts.
